D.J. Murtagh

Residing in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada, D.J. Murtagh has been exposed to a myriad of riding styles and equestrian expressions. He developed an interest in horses from a young age, but it was the simplicity of noticing equestrian behaviour that stole his heart and took his career to the next level. Since discovering his true passion in the equestrian industry, he has worked alongside many industry professionals in training and developing young horses, handling horses with “problems” or “difficulties”, judging across North America, and providing informative and constructive clinics and lessons to juniors, amateurs, and professionals alike.

D.J. has been described as having unlimited patience and a welcoming aura when dealing with horses that require extra attention. He prides himself in delivering not only professionalism, but also an environment where horses and people can learn positively and calmly.
